"Beautifully made French food"
Beautifully made French food, from casual to finest filet mignon... I love this place and always take my friends and family members from out of town here. It is a special place, lovely service and food. Tuesdays are 'bring your own wine' days. The ambience is casual, friendly, with lovely interior. Dropping by for brunch, lunch or afternoon charcuterie or a bowl of their fabulous onion soup and bread, or going for a special dinner, it's Kitsilano at its best!

"It could not have been more perfect!"
We went here to celebrate a birthday. It could not have been more perfect! There were 3 of us, each having something different. We tasted each other's dishes and pronounced them all very delicious. I would have been very happy to have had any of the dishes. The server was wonderful and very attentive. The pace of the meal was great. You want something more when you are celebrating - and this was the perfect place!

“Our local neighbourhood gem!”
This little restaurant has always been good but we have not been for over a year and now it is superb! I believe there has been a change in ownership. Certainly the décor has been updated and the friendly and professional serving staff were new to us. The portions are very generous and for us we shared the incredible home-made pate before our mains of the tenderloin steak with blue cheese crust and a special of the evening, the steelhead. Thank goodness for take-away boxes! For deserts the crème brule, while managed by me, was really big enough and rich enough to be an- other good choice for sharing. With excellent quality food at a fair price and a good wine list this is definitely one of the top restaurants on the 4th Avenue strip.

My family spent a good time here to celebrate wedding anniversary. The place is truly a neighborhood gem. Very friendly services and good food. Highly recommended to people. The place is kind of small. Good for single, small family or couple.

"Excellent Meal, Fantastic Staff"
Loved our meal here! The server was excellent, he has his craft perfected. Small but good menu and the food was superb. Husband and I shared the mussels, they were some of the best I have eaten. Our son loved his onion tart. He and I then had the beef cheeks which were superb, so tender and just fell apart. My husband loved the duck confit et cassoulet, he said there was cranberry in it to give sweetness. The desserts was also amazing, Crème Brûlée that tasted home made and chocolate mousse. Wonderful meal, couldn't be faulted. I'm sure we will be back on a trip to visit our son at UBC.

"Accommodate Lactose Intolerant Meals"
We enjoyed our dinner there with another couple. The duck was great and so was the pasta. Glad that the chef can accommodate those who are lactose intolerant. The service was good and the ambience was great. The salad portions were quite big.
